- Thursday 3 JulyTalk: Matt Orlando, 14:00, Food Is Now
Join acclaimed chef Matt Orlando at Food Is Now for Keep the Pleasure, Reduce the Impact – a conversation about how overlooked food resources can be transformed into new and delicious ingredients, from home kitchens to large-scale production.
This event is all about ideas, not just flavour. You’ll be invited to take part in an open discussion about what regenerative and organic mean to you, how these words are used (or misused), and how food innovation company Endless Food Co. works with these ideas in practice.
Alongside the talk, there will be a small tasting session featuring products made with upcycled ingredients developed by Endless Food Co.
Matt Orlando, formerly head chef at Copenhagen’s Amass Restaurant, has been a leading voice in sustainable food for more than a decade. Together with Maximillian Bogenmann and Christian Bach – who previously led a startup that replaced cocoa with upcycled brewer’s grains – he now runs Endless Food Co., a company dedicated to rethinking food systems for the future.
