- Monday 30 JuneFreestyle rap: Rapolitics X OTS, 17:00, Re:Act
Are we free to say what we think? Where do the limits of our freedom of speech lie, and which taboos are we willing to break? Experience an unforgettable freestyle rap show where Denmark's freestyle champions Elias Ben Afia, Den Lette Gade, Conradi, Flammen, Akapelle, and Spasmager challenge norms and push the boundaries of what we can express.
When they take the stage, it’s not just about rap – it’s about breaking taboos and focusing on where the true limits of freedom of speech lie. From censorship and shadow banning to death threats and political persecution – in many parts of the world, expressing yourself freely is dangerous. With rhymes, improvisation, and flow, these six rappers celebrate the fundamental right to speak up – even when the topics are controversial, political, or boundary-pushing.
As the audience, you will have the chance to choose the topics they should tackle, so we can explore the tough, often taboo subjects that we rarely discuss.
Please note: This event will be in Danish.
Re:Act is presented by Rapolitics, Roskilde Festival, and the Danish Institute for Human Rights, with support from the Tuborg Foundation and the OpEn Fund.
