Sara ATH is a queer feminist rapper with Greek-Egyptian roots, based in Berlin. Her musical journey began in Greece, where she became part of anarchist, anti-fascist, and anti-capitalist movements as a teenager. Experiences with sexism and misogyny in these circles led her to choose rap as a powerful tool to express her critiques and personal experiences.
Sara ATH's music combines biographical storytelling with sharp political commentary. Her lyrics explore intersectional feminism, queer experiences, sexuality, class struggles, and anti-racism. She uses her two native languages, Arabic and Greek, in her songs, which gives her music an authentic and deep voice that resonates with both her cultural roots and political messages.
