With a sharp blend of pop, R&B and electronic beats, singer Mabel has established herself as an exciting and innovative artist who gets you on the dance floor, but who also has something to say.

On her latest single, "Look At My Body Pt. II", a stunning collaboration with Shygirl, she celebrates body positivity while challenging the way a patriarchal male gaze has defined the female body. The song's club-friendly and trap-inspired style combined with political activism perfectly captures Mabel's project.

The daughter of musician Neneh Cherry and producer Cameron McVey, Mabel made her name with her debut album High Expectations, which earned her a Brit Award for Best Female Artist in 2020. On follow-up About Last Night... (2022), she raised the bar even higher for modern pop with a grand work that examined contemporary party culture via an almost epic journey through house, disco, and club-oriented pop.

Judging by "Look At My Body Pt. II", she's far from done exploring the anatomy of the party with both euphoric devotion to dance and a critical look at sexism. We look forward to experiencing this at Roskilde Festival.
