It is extremely rare to spot such a clear talent as Annika. No one is delivering pop bangers one after another like she is at the moment, so it only makes sense that the rising sensation will kick off Orange Stage at this summer's Roskilde Festival.
You can already start looking forward to singing along to her many hits, such as "Så længe jeg er sexy", "Knuser Hjerter", and "Luk mig ind". And Annika herself is beyond excited to throw a massive party:
"I’ve stood in front of Orange Stage countless times, watching insanely talented artists perform. It’s absolutely surreal that I get to stand on the same stage as them. I can’t wait!" says Annika.

You could say that Annika has had a meteoric rise over the past year. The just 20-year-old singer and songwriter debuted in 2024 with the single "Knuser Hjerter", which is currently on the Danish top 40 for the 48th week. Her debut single was followed by the EP Nye Tider, which cemented her status as a red-hot hitmaker.
Her journey towards stardom also earned her a Danish Music Award for "New Artist of the Year" last year, as well as the title of "P3 Talent" at P3 Guld – one of the most prestigious awards to recieve in Denmark as a new artist.
Most recently, she has collaborated with Anthon Westerlin, Denmark's hottest producer right now, on the single "Blodigt". This is just further proof that she is in the middle of her breakthrough, not just in Denmark but across the Nordic region. In fact, she has already hit number one in Norway—twice!
Who knows, maybe Annika is the voice of her generation? One thing is certain: it will be an explosive pop party when the young singer takes the stage to deliver the perfect opening for Orange Stage. With this, she writes herself into the history books as the next artist to take on the desirable task of opening the festival’s biggest stage.
