In Denmark, the majority of sheep wool is considered waste and incinerated, as it requires more processing than synthetic materials. This leads to resource waste and unnecessary CO₂ emissions.
Cloudii explores how this overlooked material can be integrated into new circular systems by transforming raw wool into modular and biodegradable panels that improve acoustics, purify the air, and can be composted after use – all without heavy processing.
The project connects local sheep farmers, materials, and production chains to rethink our use of resources, working to create value from waste and strengthen community through more sensory and sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and the people involved.
