Far too many materials are lost when furniture for temporary events are built, only to be thrown away after use. Saml has created an adaptive and circular building system that allows users to build new things for changing needs - but with the same materials.
Saml uses high-quality residual wood from the flooring industry and processes it to fit into their unique construction system. This means that they do not have to drill, screw or cut when they assemble the constructions again and again. The constructions are assembled with bolts and nuts, which also means that everyone can participate without advanced tools!

Saml has tested their solution at Roskilde Festival 2022 and 2023 as well as at GRASP 2022 and 2023
In the first year, Saml experimented with a number of different business models, both selling and renting the furniture systems. In addition, feedback was collected from the users. The second year, Saml reviewed for scale and volunteers. Among other things, with a focus on the advantages and disadvantages that follow when people without prior knowledge have to build a certain design.
The participation in the Circular Lab has resulted in Saml delivering furniture to Roskilde Festival in 2024 and 2025.
