The camping area at Roskilde Festival 2026 is open from Saturday 27 June to Sunday 5 July.
With a ticket to Roskilde Festival 2026, you can stay in our regular camping areas located in West.
Here, you choose your own spot and pitch your tent when you arrive at the festival.
You can also upgrade your camping experience with our Special Camping and Community Camping options if you want to secure your spot before the festival begins.
Special Camping sales and applications for Community Camping are expected to open in January 2026.
In the camping area, you’ll find:
- A wide range of food stalls
- Shops and services, including pharmacies, supermarkets, camping gear outlets and plenty of fun festival accessories
- Cloakroom facilities
- Hot and (free) cold showers
- Toilet facilities

Special Camping is an add-on that lets you reserve a specific spot, stay in quieter or more comfortable areas, rent a pre-pitched tent and more – all to make your camping experience easier.

Community Camping is a free option for those who want to stay in an area built on shared responsibility, good vibes and a cleaner festival. You need to apply to join.
When we live together at Roskilde Festival, we must all help take care of our beautiful festival grounds.
This means leaving every area clean and free of the items you brought with you. It also means minimizing our impact on the planet, even while we’re enjoying the festival.
You make a huge difference when you reduce your consumption, sort your waste, and reuse as much as possible.
- Reduce means bringing as little as possible from home
- Sort means helping to keep the festival clean by sorting your waste at our waste stations
- Reuse means taking your belongings home and using them again
