ABOUT THE TASK
As a parade volunteer, you will assist festival participants in sorting more waste for recycling or reuse through waste sorting parades in the campsite area, with a particular focus on larger waste fractions such as damaged camping equipment. A parade consists of a team of about 10 volunteers, a parade leader, and a driver.
As a 32-hour volunteer, you will have four shifts of 8 hours each, spread across the entire festival week (from the first day of the festival on June 28th to Saturday, July 5th). You will, of course, have the opportunity to have some influence on your shift schedule, but you can expect to have two shifts during the First Days and two shifts during the music days. You will be on the same parade team for all of your shifts. You also have the option to sign up with a friend.

Team Participant Sorting and Recycling is an integral part of Roskilde Festival. The team consists of 10 year-round volunteers who work throughout the year to plan and develop initiatives aimed at increasing waste sorting for recycling and reuse at the festival. In addition, several hundred festival volunteers help implement the plans during the festival, turning them into reality and fulfilling the goals. This is where you come in!
We have many years of experience with some waste initiatives, while others are brand new in our ongoing effort to improve year after year and remove more waste from the site, sorting it so that resources can be used in the best possible way. We hope you will join the team and help us create a cleaner and more sustainable Roskilde Festival. In return, we will do our very best to create a great festival where you, as a volunteer, feel seen, heard, and appreciated – both for the person you are and for the work you do.

The GRØN association is dedicated to creating a solid foundation for young people in Holbæk Municipality, so they are well-prepared to step into adult life with positive conditions and opportunities. The association strives to support young people with economic and social challenges through voluntary community work, focusing on initiatives within the festival context. Ultimately, we aim to connect young people with opportunities, resources, and organizations in the broader society that can help them realize their potential.
In our base, our community is central, and we strive to organize events that bring the volunteers together and give them a great experience at the festival. This could be going to concerts together, playing bingo with different prizes, or something completely different.

This year, we are looking for engaged volunteers (170–190) to work at our bottle return booth, where you can help make a difference for the environment, the festival, and our association.
Help the environment as a volunteer in the bottle return booth
The bottle return booth plays a crucial role at the festival. Here, we ensure that bottles, cans, cups, and jugs are recycled, while also keeping the festival grounds clean and pleasant. As a volunteer in the booth, you will accept bottles from collectors and help ensure that everything is handled correctly.
As a volunteer in the bottle return booth, you will receive:
- Meals during your shifts
- The opportunity to participate in social events with the other volunteers
The task involves four shifts of 8 hours each, spread across the festival. Typically, you will take two shifts during the setup days and two during the concert days. We will do our best to accommodate your requests for sharing shifts with friends, so you can enjoy the festival together both during and outside your shifts.

Holbæk Taekwondo Club is a 50-year-old association practicing the Korean martial art of Taekwondo. We value an inclusive community with space for everyone and attend Roskilde Festival to raise money for the club and have some really fun days together.
We focus on creating a strong sense of community with a good atmosphere and include new volunteers in the group. In addition to the festival’s many offerings for volunteers, we have our own cozy backstage area. Here, you can have breakfast every morning, starting the day in good company. Our volunteer tent is also a meeting place throughout the days when you need a break in a familiar spot.

The Brazil food stall has been part of Roskilde Festival since 2006. Our 219 volunteers prepare and serve rice dishes, burgers, and snack potatoes, supporting the Hvidovre Volleyball Club and community outreach projects in our local area.

Frikadiller has been part of the festival since 1982. The food stall is located in Central Park, where there is always something happening. It is about 200 meters from the Orange Stage.
We are a scout association from Himmelev, Roskilde, with around 150 members.
With 95 volunteers at the festival, we are a small food stall that values good atmosphere and teamwork.
Our hope is that our volunteers have a great experience and want to return.
We sell and prepare meatball burgers, potatoes, and vegan burgers.

ABOUT THE TASK
Come and join this year's party, as a service host in traffic north.
Our primary tasks take place on the roads just north of the festival, around the main entrance to the festival site (Darupvej & Maglegårdsvej). We ensure that only vehicles with the correct permits and wristbands are allowed through our gates and locks. We check wristbands on pedestrians and cyclists at the entrances to the festival. It is both volunteers, festival workers and general guests who come through our entrances. It is primarily a check of wristband, no search. We help those who do not have the right permits with directions on where to go to get them.
What do we expect?
You must take 4 shifts of 8 hours each. You choose the shifts yourself, but must be chosen as a complete package. We will open for shift selection as soon as we know how many volunteers we need and the shift plan is in place.

HG/Næstved Dragons is a floorball club in Næstved. We are around 100 members with an approximate 50/50 distribution between senior and youth. Everything we earn at the festival goes entirely to the association's operation and activities, to the delight of a lot of active young people. However, we have a goal that around 1/3 of the profit should come from our volunteers at the festival in the form of good food and a tent for fun and cheap beer etc.
You become part of a team and a community. We lift together, even if the party from yesterday is hammering through our heads and the weather is against us. We always take on challenges with a smile and a pint of beer when we're done (maybe more). We are happy to go the extra mile for our volunteers as long as the respect is mutual.

1. Own base area with sofas, games, party, lots of fun and the festival's best draft beer!
2. Free breakfast every day 6:00 – 11:00 regardless of whether you are on duty or not.

As a volunteer in the Italian food truck, La Trinacria, you’ll be part of a small, but energetic and fun team! Your tasks will include:
- Cash register and customer service, ensuring festival guests have an amazing experience
- Preparing delicious food, such as paninis and other simple meals
- Ensuring our truck and area are clean and inviting
- Spreading lots of good energy and positive vibes throughout the day
Shifts are 8 hours long, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 AM. You’ll work a total of 32 hours spread over the entire week, with up to 2 night shifts. You can select your shift package in our system, which works on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're a group of friends, we can easily coordinate your shifts so you can work together.

In addition to the good atmosphere we create in our area, you will also get the opportunity to get around both the camping area and the festival site. You will assist with various tasks and in this way get a nuanced experience of the atmosphere and operation of Roskilde Festival.
The tasks may be of an urgent nature or lie where unforeseen pressure has arisen. Examples of tasks can be helping in food stalls with production and sales, construction/preparation up to the opening of the festival site, repairs, transport, porter and other small tasks.

As a night watch volunteer, you will be part of a team of two per night. Your job will be to get the bar ready for the next day, including cleaning up, washing dishes, receiving supplies, and tidying up. ABOUT THE TASK
This year, our volunteers will take on the roles of camping hosts, service hosts, and team leaders (supervisors).
As a volunteer, you will walk around the camping area and assist festival guests in settling in, together with 3-4 other volunteers – maybe even your friends if you sign up together.
Volunteers work in teams of 4-5 people.
As a volunteer with us, you will have a total of 4 shifts, with 1-2 shifts during the music days. Everyone over 18 must take at least one night shift. We can arrange your schedule to fit around any other work commitments.
The role includes directing participants to their reserved or available camping spots, answering questions about the festival and camping area, encouraging sustainable behavior, guiding waste management, and keeping an eye on high-voltage power lines and toilets. This includes refilling toilet paper, replacing hygiene bags, and sweeping paper off the floor if needed. It does not involve full cleaning. You should also be able to call for assistance if necessary.

We are a social project called Responsible Refund by Roskilde Festival – and we are aiming to support and celebrate the refund collectors both while they are out on the ground working and when they are taking a break in our Lounge called The Big Chill. To guide the bottle collectors and keep the Refunders' Lounge running, we need engaged, sociable and open-minded volunteers. So come and help us create a good experience for the refund collectors - and no, you will not be counting or collecting refund at the festival. :)

ABOUT THE TASK
We are looking for volunteer camping hosts for the Tent area in West. You will be part of a larger team where we work together to ensure that all camping guests have an amazing festival experience. We provide service and are available if anyone needs a helping hand. We help maintain a joyful atmosphere in the camping area.
Work areas:
Primarily, we walk around the area to ensure that everyone is doing well, call for assistance if needed, and help guests with their questions and challenges.
We keep an eye on the toilet areas, lock toilets that are out of order, and, if necessary, rinse them (though not perform a thorough cleaning).
We distribute trash bags to guests and encourage them to use these bags and drop them off at the waste collection points.
We have our own dispatchers and supervisors. They handle radio communication, task distribution, and requesting assistance (security and medical help). Supervisors are your point of contact in the field and assist with any serious situations and incidents.

AIR Roskilde Wrestling Club is the local wrestling club, and all our profits go towards giving children and young people, especially those from vulnerable families, the opportunity to participate in our sport and, more importantly, to be part of our amazing community. The children we support typically include vulnerable Danish children and refugee children from the Middle East and Ukraine.

We provide you with free food and drinks during your shifts throughout the festival period in our base area. Additionally, drinks will be available for purchase at very reasonable prices. This year, we are especially focused on creating a great social atmosphere in our base, so you won’t want to be anywhere else!

ABOUT THE TASK
As service hosts in Volunteer Camping, our primary job is to patrol the camping area and ensure that it remains neat, quiet and a pleasant place to be. This includes ensuring that tents are placed correctly, that people are not too noisy and that everything remains clean. Volunteer Camping is the cleanest and quietest of all the camping areas at the festival, because it must be possible for volunteers to rest and sleep during the festival. In addition, we also want to be visible and accessible to people in the camping area, so that we can ensure “the orange feeling” and a good atmosphere.
You are able to take your own shifts through Planday, so you can work with you friends easily if you take shifts together. The only requirement here is that we ask of you to take to take at least one shift during the music days (02.07 - 05.07), at least one night shift (21.06 - 08.07) and 2 other shifts anywhere while we are there in the period of 21.06 - 08.07. Since we are there 2 weeks before the festival, as well as a few days after, you can take shifts before or after the festival, to have more time to enjoy the music!

While the position is not very physically demanding, it will require you to walk in your sectors and be visible to all the other volunteers staying at the area. It is required to be service minded and be willing to talk to the guests. Breaks are provided for all shifts, short and longer ones to have some lunch or dinner at our very own MS volunteer lounge.

ABOUT THE TASK
As a parade driver, you will drive a vehicle in the waste sorting parades in the campsite area, helping festival participants sort more waste for recycling or reuse. The parades particularly focus on larger waste fractions such as damaged camping equipment. A parade consists of a team of about 10 volunteers, a parade leader, and a driver.
Your responsibilities during the parade will include:
- Being responsible for the keys and equipment for the parades
- Being attentive to and adhering to safety measures
- Driving the vehicle during the collection and overseeing the parade route
- Coordinating the emptying of the vehicle in collaboration with the parade leader
- Cleaning and tidying the vehicle after your shift
As a 32-hour volunteer, you will have four shifts of 8 hours each, spread across the entire festival week (from the first day of the festival on June 28th to Saturday, July 5th). You will, of course, have the opportunity to have some influence on your shift schedule, but you can expect to have two shifts during the First Days and two shifts during the music days. You will be on the same parade team for all your shifts. You also have the option to sign up with a friend.

Team Participant Sorting and Recycling is an integral part of Roskilde Festival. The team consists of 10 year-round volunteers who work throughout the year to plan and develop initiatives aimed at increasing waste sorting for recycling and reuse at the festival. In addition, several hundred festival volunteers help implement the plans during the festival, turning them into reality and fulfilling the goals. This is where you come in!
We have many years of experience with some waste initiatives, while others are completely new in our ongoing effort to improve year after year and remove more waste from the site, sorting it so that resources can be used in the best possible way. We hope you will join the team and contribute to making the Roskilde Festival cleaner and more sustainable. ABOUT THE TASK
Do you like being in the front line and want to contribute to a cleaner and greener festival? Then join our team of binfluencers – a volunteer job that makes a difference!
As a binfluencer, you will be right at the heart of the festival experience, walking through the camping areas with a small team to inform excited festival-goers about the various ways they can dispose of their waste, particularly educating them about waste sorting in their own camps and handing out bags for the purpose.
Specifically, your role will be to:
- Help festival-goers sort their waste while they are in their camps.
- Guide guests on how to sort their waste into the familiar waste fractions.
- Ensure that all camps have the necessary waste bags so the waste is sorted correctly.
- Advise guests on how to dispose of their waste properly.
- Direct them to local sorting stations.
- Encourage guests to take their camping gear home when they leave.
The job is 32 hours in total, spread over 4 shifts of eight hours. We aim to have you work two shifts before the music starts and two shifts during the music days. Shifts are usually scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You can definitely join the team with your friends.

As a Green Guardian Sorting Guide, your role is to help staff the sorting stations at the festival. Sorting waste helps reduce resource waste and contributes to the goal of achieving a greener festival.
The purpose of your role is to ensure that waste is sorted correctly at the festival and that participants have the opportunity to do so at the sorting stations.
Your tasks will include:
- Guiding participants to sort their waste correctly at the sorting station, as well as ensuring the station remains presentable.
- Engaging in proactive conversations with participants, encouraging them to sort their waste.
- Managing and cleaning the area around the sorting station.
- Socializing with curious participants.
- Providing guidance and information on sorting and recycling to festival-goers.
This important task will take place in areas centrally located in the festival's camping grounds, where you will have ample opportunity to inform and motivate festival-goers to sort their waste. Your efforts will contribute to a greener festival.
As a 32-hour volunteer, you will have four shifts of 8 hours each, spread across the entire festival week (from the festival's first day on June 28th to Sunday, July 6th). You will have the chance to influence your shift schedule, but you can expect to have two shifts during the First Days and two shifts during the music days.
You will work alongside at least one other 32-hour volunteer. You also have the option to sign up with a friend. Shifts will mostly take place during the daytime, so there is no night work, and you won’t miss the biggest concerts.

ABOUT US
Team Participant Sorting and Recycling is an integral part of Roskilde Festival. The team consists of 10 year-round volunteers who work throughout the year to plan and develop initiatives aimed at increasing the sorting of waste for recycling and reuse at the festival. In addition, several hundred festival volunteers help turn these plans into reality and fulfill the goals during the festival. This is where you come in!
We have many years of experience with some waste initiatives, while others are brand new in our ongoing efforts to improve year after year and sort more waste, reducing it from the festival grounds so that resources can be utilized in the best possible way. We hope you will join the team and contribute to making Roskilde Festival cleaner and more sustainable. In return, we will do our very best to create a great festival where you, as a volunteer, feel seen, heard, and appreciated – both for who you are and for the work you do.

We are looking for volunteer camping hosts for the Caravan area. You will be part of a larger team, and we focus on ensuring that all camping guests have an amazing festival experience. We provide service and are available if anyone needs a helping hand. We ensure the joy of camping. Your commitment to Roskilde will consist of four shifts, each lasting eight hours, during the period from June 28 to July 6. It is possible to apply together with friends, and we will do our best to assign you shifts together.

ROSKILDEJOB is the fundraising association of Skovvejens Blue Scouts, and all of our profits go towards providing children and young people with even better outdoor experiences in nature.
This year, we are especially focused on creating a social atmosphere in our base, so you won't want to be anywhere else. Before the festival, we invite all our volunteers to an info session via Teams, where we can meet virtually. If you're unable to attend, we will arrange a meeting before the shifts begin. As something truly special, we can offer a get-together party on June 30th with live music.

ABOUT THE TASK
Ready to give the festival crowd a clean and awesome experience?
We are looking for volunteers for ad-hoc tasks. In our team, you will volunteer in a team where, among other things, we pick up and dispose of trash bags and handle various ad-hoc tasks.
We offer:

ABOUT THE TASK
For volunteers in the stalls, the tasks primarily include sales, assisting customers, keeping things organized, and doing it all with a positive attitude. There are scheduled hour-long breaks during all shifts. On night shifts, there is the opportunity for a 2-hour rest. There are always at least 3 volunteers on shift together. Volunteers with day shifts have 3 shifts. Volunteers with night shifts have 2 shifts.

ABOUT YOU
- A driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement.
- If you have experience with inventory management or knowledge of running a clothing store, it is welcome.
- If you have experience with accounting, it is welcome.
- The most important thing is a good attitude.
ABOUT US
We are about 300 volunteers, and we make an effort to ensure that everyone feels good both during and between shifts. The stalls are located at 5 different locations around the inner square and in the camping areas. In the storage area, volunteers ensure that the stalls receive their deliveries and also maintain order in the stock. The storage area is located in the inner square, near the main stall. All stalls and the storage area have back areas where you can relax. We hold various gatherings during the festival where you can get a bite to eat and meet everyone. It’s optional but enjoyable :)
We also have a resource team whose task is to take care of the volunteers.
