When you see Carlloyaboy perform, there's no doubt that he was made for the stage. With a passion for music and an energy that burns through to the audience, he manages to reach far beyond the edge of the stage with an expression that combines pop, R&B and Afrobeats.
Carlloyaboy plays a multitude of instruments and sings, produces, writes and records all his songs himself. With his versatile and warm voice, he conveys personal songs that spring from his own life. His debut album from 2022 was aptly named Carllo's Public Diary.
In 2024, he has made his mark with singles like "Maybe You Should Run Away" and "Voodoo Chile", where his big-music talent is clearly visible. He has also gained lots of live experience supporting Danish Afrobeats star JJ Paulo, for whom he also plays bass.
JJ Paulo has said of Carlloyaboy: "He is destined to become a superstar". We agree, and that makes for a good reason to swing by when the rising star visits Roskilde Festival with his groovy band.
