Singer and songwriter Sira Jovina has quickly attracted attention as an unusual talent in the Danish pop and R&B scene. With a distinctive voice and great musicality, she can create both intimate moments and sublime pop magic.
This was already evident in 2023 when she built up her fan base through a series of TikTok videos, where she let the audience into her teenage bedroom where she performed her own songs in acoustic versions on several different instruments. 2023 was rounded off with her first regular release in the form of the single "Længe Siden", which was recorded with her brother and father in the familiar spirit of the TikTok videos.
The song kickstarted a string of strong singles, and in 2024, Sira Jovina was signed by Def Jam, who released her debut EP, Min Drøm. 2024 has also seen collaborations with Danish artists Mas and Kidd.
More importantly, Sira Jovina has distinguished herself as a gripping live artist who can alternate between fragile presence and cool strength – always with a personal tone and musical originality as a focus. An enormous talent that we look forward to experiencing this summer.
