With grandiose emotions, futuristic pop bangers and hard-hitting rhythms, Tonser delivers a vivid musical vision – at once uncompromising and made for big arenas.
The ambitious singer-songwriter and producer hails from Copenhagen, but now lives in Tokyo, from where he releases his maximalist pop songs that draw on a wealth of musical references such as EDM, hyperpop and K-pop to envelop the listener in a life-affirming energy.
Drawing inspiration from Norse mythology, Game of Thrones, and the Japanese Visual Kei style, Tonser creates his own universe that, despite the big gestures, also leaves room for love and vulnerability – as on his latest single, "Parasite".
“Parasite” precedes the upcoming album Wolf, which is presented as a coming-of-age story. Wolf is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to the strong debut album Night Hunter from 2024, and is released with exquisite timing just before Tonser visits Roskilde Festival this summer with his euphoric hyperpop universe and his gigantic stage presence. You’re in for a treat!
