SCROLL DOWN

By 2025, The Circular Lab aims to involve at least 200 young entrepreneurs in developing the future's circular solutions.

Roskilde Festival and Tuborg Foundation are the driving forces behind The Circular Lab, which aims to empower the next generation of young entrepreneurs, accelerate green development, and influence Danish climate behavior.

Roskilde Festival serves as the focal point. Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to test their solutions with a young audience in a temporary environment. The festival setting provides ample opportunities to gather knowledge and data on participants' interactions with the entrepreneurs' solutions, or stress-test the solution in an environment with many people.

A laboratory for sustainable solutions

With 130,000 residents, Roskilde Festival can be compared to a larger city. Additionally, the temporariness of the festival community makes it a unique and forgiving platform for testing new sustainable solutions that have the potential to change societal behavior.

Entrepreneurs will gain a unique opportunity to gather knowledge and data on how their solution performs. The ambition is to support future green entrepreneurs by creating frameworks where they can challenge and test their specific solutions in a flexible and vast laboratory filled with people and opportunities.

Tempty Foods, 2022

We ended up changing our product after testing it at Roskilde Festival. Now we have a cheaper, newer product than what we thought we'd proceed with. But people preferred this a lot, and we were very surprised at how significant the difference was.

Tempty Foods develop alternatives to meat and tested their products on consumers during Roskilde Festival 2022.
