V.i.p - very important pony. The title of horsegiirL's EP, due out in early 2025, is apt for the Berlin-based artist who, hidden behind a surreal horse mask, has galloped straight into pop heaven.
She insists on being half horse and half human, and she insists that her music should be a free space for joy and celebration. A party that she herself fires up with an extremely danceable mix of happy hardcore, hardstyle, gabber and Eurodance, inspired by names as diverse as Dolly Parton and Lady Gaga.
With the single "My Barn My Rules" from 2023, she showed how to party in the techno barn. The song became a viral hit, especially on TikTok, and since then horsegiirL has gone from strength to strength, releasing a string of sensational singles and keeping the party going at numerous festivals and clubs, where she has built a dedicated following of fans she refers to as "farmies".
Attending a horsegiirL show is an experience unlike any other and as accomplished as her whole mysterious persona. Hayfever is the name of her latest show, which draws on both fairy tales and children's TV to create a special space where you can unleash your inner playful child. Now horsegiirL is bringing the surreal show to Roskilde Festival where the stage is set for a wild horse party.
