Look forward to a very special experience when the forward-thinking vocal ensemble UngKlang fill Roskilde Festival with beautiful choral harmonies.
UngKlang are a vocal ensemble consisting of nine young women with a shared past in the renowned Danish National Girl’s Choir. Since 2020, they have used their classically trained voices to challenge expectations of the vocal ensemble format. UngKlang not only set up traditional choir concerts, but have also sung with established Danish artists such as Kind Mod Kind and Coco O., made experimental dance theatre with SPRÆNG Danseteater, and performed a new Danish national anthem live on Danish Radio’s P3.
UngKlang manage to bring choral music to new stages and audiences with accomplished shows where choreography and light shows support the stunningly beautiful choral sounds. In this way, they build bridges between different musical worlds, creating an experience where otherworldly sound and intimate presence come together in a higher unity.
