"Emotional rave pop" is what Swedish artist Yaeger calls her music on Spotify. A highly fitting description of Yaeger's universe, where sweet pop melodies and hard-pumping electronic beats pound against each other, and where there is room for both euphoric dancing and melancholic tears in the club.
Yaeger herself cites rave culture, Wes Anderson aesthetics and the fantastical universes of Astrid Lindgren as inspirations for her colorful yet touching pop gems, which have gained an international audience with hits like "Waiting for Nothing", "Habits (Stay High)" and "Water Pistol".
In 2023 she released the excellent EP Jaguar and the same year she collaborated with Icona Pop on the single "Shit We Do For Love". Predicted to be a major breakthrough in 2025, her rave-inspired electronic pop music has been compared to artists like Charli XCX.
More importantly, Yaeger is known for being a rarely engaging live performer who brings a big pop party to the stage. You can witness this for yourself when the rising Swedish star takes over Roskilde Festival this summer.
