From the vibrant music scene of Gothenburg, Sweden, the band Boy With Apple spreads their atmospheric and reverb heavy sound that recalls the best of 80s and 90s dream pop and shoegaze, while also adding a personal touch.
The four musicians in the band make no secret of their love for classic acts like Cocteau Twins, Slowdive and Beach House, and they carry on the legacy convincingly with soaring guitar lines, dreamy vocals and a soundscape that shimmers like sunspots on an ocean surface.
At the same time, however, the band adds more electronic layers to the music using synths and drum machine. All the elements work together to send the listener into an otherworldly state.
Boy With Apple have released a series of beautiful singles and EPs since their inception in 2019, and following the release of their debut album, Attachment, in 2024, they're ready to take off and conquer audiences outside of Sweden. They have already performed at international festivals such as SXSW. This summer they will bring their spellbinding shoegaze anthems to Roskilde Festival.
