Hailing from Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, Jinjer has conquered the world with a sure hand and an impressive technical level with their progressive metal sound that unites genres such as metalcore, djent and groove metal.
The ability to combine complex and progressive structures with a hard and heavy groove has made the band a popular festival act. You can't help but be swept away by the band's captivating and challenging sound, which is further enhanced by their iconic frontwoman Tatiana Shmayluk. A true powerhouse with tons of charisma and a vocal that can switch between pure beauty, brutal growls, and painful screams without hesitation.
Since their debut album, Cloud Factory from 2014, Jinjer has grown into an indispensable band on the modern metal scene, touring the world with their groovy and overwhelming music. Ahead of this summer's Roskilde Festival, they will release their fifth studio album, Duél, following up on the hugely successful Wallflowers. An album that Kerrang! called it "one of the finest – and most important – metal releases of 2021".
Indeed, the stage is set for a technical metal attack of the finest kind when the Ukrainian band hits Roskilde Festival.
