Although Von Quar have only released one official single so far in the form of the song "Forår," released in early 2025, they are already well on their way to becoming one of Denmark's most talked about live bands. This is a band whose fanbase and hype has grown thanks to extraordinary concerts, a unique live energy, and a clear musical vision.
Danish-language hooligan rock is what the band calls their style, which, inspired by the energy and sense of community at major sporting and stadium events. On stage, their music escalates into euphoric ecstasy with hypnotizing synths, hard-hitting drums, loud vocals and a full horn section.
Mastermind Mikkel Øster transforms a passion from a youth spent drumming at football stadium terraces into a musical universe that draws on rock, punk, and rave culture. And where the band on stage is often the size of an entire football team!
It almost goes without saying that Von Quar's music is made for the big festival stages, and there's a good chance of a breathtaking show far beyond the ordinary when they visit Roskilde Festival this summer.
