The stage is set for a hard-hitting concert experience when the young band Split performs at Roskilde Festival with their energetic punch.
Formed in 2024, the band has already impressed with a series of wild shows across the country. Shows that show a strong dedication from a band with their own dynamic approach in a borderland between classic hardcore and modern metalcore. And a band with huge ambitions to spread their blazing musical anger to a large audience.
The vision for the band originated with frontman Benjamin Jeppesen, who as a teenager was already part of New York's vibrant hardcore culture as guitarist in the band The Dead Are Living. Now his home is the Copenhagen district Amager, where Jeppesen has gathered a strong musical team around him.
Amager's postal code is also honored in the title of Split's recently released debut EP 2300, which with massive grooves, heavy riffs and fearsome energy shows Split as an indispensable band on the vital Danish hardcore scene.
