With a collectivist approach, an affection for the great song and a willingness to set creativity free, the trio Uden Ord is an exciting addition to the Danish alternative pop/rock scene.
In the trio, the three songwriters William Spangaard Nielsen, Thomas Mulcahy Alexandersen (kingtommi) and Gustav Hedemann Christensen (Sortblod) frolic in a colourful and original universe where they develop a wild growing pop music nurtured with care, intuition and presence.
The songs take listeners on a trip through many moods and styles. Like on the excellent and ambitious second album Verden Den Er Lige Her, released in 2023 and praised by Danish magazine Soundvenue who called it "a phenomenal, eclectic work".
The collectivist approach really comes through at the band's legendary concerts, where they gather a large orchestra around them with trombone, violin and lots of choirs. And where new guests are always welcome. There are therefore high expectations for Uden Ord's concert at Roskilde Festival, which they visit with a brand-new EP in their bag.
