With sharp lyrics, tongue-in-cheek humor, and a masterful sense of solid hooks, English duo Wet Leg have managed to breathe new life into guitar-based indie pop.
Rarely has a debut album generated as much excitement as Wet Leg's self-titled debut, released on acclaimed Domino Records in 2022. Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, who founded the duo in 2019 and charmed the music world in 2021 with the single "Chaise Longue", quickly became one of the most talked about names of the time.
Wet Leg appeared on numerous year-end lists, topped the charts, and the duo received numerous awards, including Best British Group at the Brit Awards and a Grammy for Best Alternative Album. Quickly moving from small club shows to large arenas and festivals, the duo have demonstrated an exemplary ability to bring the humor and nerve of their songs to the stage, and as an audience member, it's impossible not to get caught up in their subtle energy.
Both their sensational debut album and electrifying live shows have created sky-high expectations for Wet Leg’s upcoming album Moisturizer, set to drop this summer. The timing couldn’t be better, as the duo brings their charismatic indie anthems to Roskilde Festival.
